Catalan artist and filmmaker Albert SERRA (1975, Spain) holds a degree in Spanish Philology and Literary Theory from Barcelona University. He writes, directs and produces both films and plays. His films usually depict European myths and literature. In 2001, Serra co-founded the production company Andergraun Films. Honor de cavalleria was selected by Cahiers du Cinéma as one of the ten best films of 2007. In 2013, a retrospective of Serra's work was screened at the Centre Pompidou. For Història de la meva mort, Serra was awarded the Golden Leopard at the Locarno Film Festival in 2013. For La mort de Louis XIV, Serra received the Prix Jean Vigo in 2016. Liberté received the Un Certain Regard – Special Jury Prize in Cannes 2019. Selected for IFFR 2023, Pacifiction was nominated for the Palme d'Or at Cannes Film Festival in 2022.

After moving from music to film in 1989, Gisle Tveito has constantly been exploring the potential of film sound. His curiosity and dedication has resulted in a long list of fruitful collaborations and numerous awards, including the Aamot award for outstanding contribution to Norwegian film.

Mátyás Erdély is a celebrated filmmaker known for his exceptional cinematography and storytelling. His unique visual style and ability to capture emotions through camera work have earned him critical acclaim and awards, establishing him as a prominent figure in the industry.

Trude Lirhus trained as a dancer, but after an injury that made her dance career difficult, she transitioned to film. She has quickly established herself as a sought-after film editor in both fiction and documentary. She graduated from the film school in Lillehammer in 2014 and has since edited films with outstanding variation in genres and themes. Already in 2015, she won the Film Critics' Award for the movie "Komiteen" (The Committee). With two Gullruten Awards and three nominations for Best Editing for the critically acclaimed series "Unge lovende" (Young & Promising), her talent is undisputed. Several films edited by Lirhus have been screened at international film festivals like TIFF and Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.
