Festival Route 1

The Festival Routes are suggested guides through the festival made by the MIRAGE Programmers.

Each Route takes you from one film or event to another, creating a curated experience. This route begins on Thursday with the film Sermon to the Birds followed by Tilda Swinton's soothing voice in Last and First Men, before wrapping up the night with our House Party at Vega. Friday whisks you back in time with The Damned and then to the favelas with A Wolfpack Called Ernesto. Saturday pays homage to our mothers with When the Persimmons Grew and The Night Still Smells of Gunpowder, then follow up with a 16mm celluloid experience with Darkness, Darkness, Burning Bright.

Finally, on Sunday, immerse yourself with Viggo Mortensen and Eureka, follow up with Realm of Satan to cap off the weekend.

Under you can read more about the mentioned films and buy tickets. With a festival pass you can go freely and explore everything for only 650,- (students 450,-).

Festival Route 2

The Festival Routes are a suggested guide through the festival made by the MIRAGE Programmers.

Each Route takes you from one film or event to another, creating a curated experience. This route starts by taking you back in time to the age of jazz through our Opening Night. Thursday takes you to an Argentinian prison with Reas and into a New York apartment, and an intense artist relationship with Two Strangers Trying Not to Kill Each Other. Friday starts with life on the streets in A Man Imagined. Then, catch seven short films from MIRAGE Shorts.
Saturday begins with a personal deep dive with Shards, before Architecton takes you on a journey across the world of architecture and stones. The evening ends calmly with a trip to Cuba in Oceans are the Real Continents.

Sunday, we recommend heading to the rainforest in search of The Buriti Flower, followed by a heavy metal water trip with Aquarela.

Under you can read more about the mentioned films and buy tickets. With a festival pass you can go freely and explore everything for only 650,- (students 450,-).
