MIRAGE is a festival as well as an arena for the art of the real where film meets photography, literature and music/sound, dedicated screenings of artistic documentary films with highly cinematic ambitions. Films that push boundaries for audio-visual storytelling combined with unique stories that challenge us to see the world from new perspectives.
The festival celebrates the craft of filmmaking itself and embraces the filmmakers and artists that, with courage and without compromise, create innovative stories rooted in reality. Most importantly, MIRAGE is a social festival, a place to share experiences, and a place to be surprised, fascinated, delighted and challenged by the art of cinema but also exhibitions, talks, parties and concerts. We hope to evoke mind-opening conversations and facilitate meetings with the most interesting artists and filmmakers of our time.
