Io Sivertsen is a Norwegian photographer and film maker, working across theatre, cinema, and art. Dedicated to visual story telling, she makes photographic series, films, scenographies, and installations. Her work has been featured in various festivals and exhibition spaces in Norway, Poland, Slovenia, and Spain. Her shorts «Voksesmerter, tanker om klimakrisen» [Growing pains, thoughts on climate crisis] have been awarded numerous prices. Siversten has a master's in documentary filmmaking from the Norwegian Film School.
Christa Barlinn Korvald is a Norwegian artist and scenographer. Korvalds works have been exhibited in numerous venues in Norway such as BO, The Association of Visual Artists Oslo, K4 in Oslo, and Heimdal Art Association in Trondheim, and internationally at Maribor Art Gallery, and Kunstverein Leipzig. This year Barlinn Korvald is publishing a book with drawings and essays from the trial after the terrorist attack during pride 2022. Barlinn Korvald holds an MFA in illustration from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts.
Together has Io Sivertsen and Christa Barlinn Korvald collaborated with film and video works for years. In 2022 they won Høstutstillingprisen (National Art Exhibition Prize) for their work “BBQ and Apocalypse” together with Signe Rosenlund-Hauglid and Ylva Gulpinar.
